Zhejiang Meare Smart Tech Co., Limited has officially been accepted into the supply chain of Joyoung Co., Ltd. , one of China's most established household appliance brands. The partnership takes effect this month.

Joyoung needs little introduction in the Chinese market. Founded in 1994 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2008, the company built its name on the automatic soy milk maker before expanding into a wide range of kitchen and home appliances now found in tens of millions of Chinese households. For a supplier, joining Joyoung's vendor network is not a routine commercial arrangement - the brand's quality requirements are well known across the industry, and qualification takes time.

Meare was founded in 2018 in Jiangshan, Zhejiang, with a focus on smart household cleaning products. The company grew out of Jiaxing Dingxiang Mold Co., Ltd., a precision mold and injection molding business established in 2007, and that manufacturing background shows in how Meare approaches product development. Rather than buying in components and assembling, the team designs and builds from the tooling stage up - a distinction that matters when consistency across large production runs is non-negotiable.
Today the company operates from a 22,000-square-meter facility with over 80 staff and a product line that spans electric mops, sensor trash cans, handheld sweepers, robotic floor cleaners, ultrasonic cleaning machines, and pipeline dredgers. It holds multiple invention, design, and utility model patents, and carries ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
The sales numbers give a sense of scale. In 2019, Meare shipped 500,000 smart sensor trash cans, 420,000 handheld sweepers, and 100,000 electric mops - figures achieved while the company was still relatively young. Since 2020, it has been selling into South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, working with local distributors in each market.
The Joyoung partnership focuses on the domestic China market, where demand for smart cleaning appliances has grown steadily as consumers upgrade their homes. For Meare, it is a meaningful vote of confidence - and an opportunity to reach a scale of distribution that few independent suppliers access on their own.
