Built from the Factory Floor Up

Meare's manufacturing identity starts with molds, and that has been true since before the company existed under its current name. The team behind Meare traces its roots to Jiaxing Dingxiang Mold Co., Ltd., founded in 2007. That earlier company spent years focused exclusively on precision mold fabrication and injection molding, building the equipment, the processes, and the technical instincts that Meare carries forward today. When Zhejiang Meare Smart Tech was formally established in 2018, it did not start from scratch on the manufacturing side. It started with more than a decade of mold-making experience already in the room.

For this product, the tooling scope was substantial. The complete injection mold set required 18 molds in total, covering every plastic component in the product. All 18 were designed and built entirely in-house, with no tooling outsourced. The work ran from initial design through first trial shots in three months.

That timeline is only possible when machining, EDM, grinding, and fitting all happen under the same roof, on equipment the team operates directly. Meare's tooling floor runs GZFO CNC machining centers for cavity and core work. An R400 high-precision medium-speed wire EDM machine handles the narrow-tolerance features that milling cannot produce cleanly, including slider clearances, gate geometry, and ejector pin locations. A surface grinder brings parting faces to the flatness that determines whether production parts come out clean or carry flash. EDM sinker operations finish the cavity surfaces that require geometry a rotating cutter cannot reach.

None of this equipment is shared with a subcontractor or accessed through a third party. It is owned and operated by Meare's own team, on the factory floor in Jiangxi.

The fitting and tryout stage at the end of that sequence is where all the machined work either comes together or reveals its gaps. Mold sets were disassembled, components checked individually, and reassembled with hand-fitting adjustments by the toolmakers on the bench. Slide travel, ejector stroke, spring preload, and parting surface contact were all verified before any mold went onto an injection machine. Across 18 molds, that is a significant body of work, and it was completed within the three-month window.

The reason this matters for buyers is straightforward. When a manufacturer controls its own tooling entirely, revision cycles are short, dimensional accountability is clear, and the path from a reported quality issue to a corrected production run does not pass through an external supplier's schedule. In 2019 alone, before the company had meaningfully entered export markets, Meare sold 500,000 sensor trash bins, 420,000 handheld sweepers, and 100,000 electric mops through domestic e-commerce platforms including Alibaba, Tmall, JD.com, and Pinduoduo. Since expanding internationally in October 2020, the company has established stable distribution in Korea and Japan and built coverage across Southeast Asian, European, and North American markets.

That commercial foundation gives this launch something that new-brand introductions rarely have: an existing distribution network, established buyer relationships, and category credibility with partners who have already seen Meare's manufacturing quality on previous lines.
